Dive Report 1 April

What a day to play hooky! We had a bright, sunny, and BREEZY day with a good chop coming from the south south east, but we still had 15'-20' of vis in water that was seventy-seven to seventy-nine degrees! I was in my 3mm wetsuit for the first time this year with a 3mm hooded vest and I was comfortable throughout our one hour, fifty-minute dive. Carrie and I were playing with new fins and had no responsibilities so we poked our way around in super slow motion. Only by going so slowly did I see a decorator crab. Incredible camoflage! It was also a three octopi day, one of which is living in a beer can, no kidding! Carrie filled her shell jar and I recovered an action toy and a fishing lure! Who knows what treasures are there yet to be discovered. The water is getting warmer. Take advantage of this great dive site in our backyard. Get in the water, Ham
