Dive Report 2 April

The water is warmer! An open water student and I did a one-hour, twenty-minute dive time; in my 3mm wetsuit with a 3mm hooded vest I was toasty the whole time. My student had only a 3mm wetsuit, but was quite comfortable. Carrie showed two Discover Scuba participants some of the wonders of bridge diving while my student and I ran through the open water skill set. In doing so we saw two bandtail searobins, small ones. On our way back towards the beach from the channel at the first set of pilings from the beach we saw a seahorse. During our long snorkeling exercise in the swimming area we saw an octopus fully out and hunting. A little eyed flounder just missed being the octopus' supper. Again, the water is warm; get in it, Ham
